As Sol got out of bed, he adjusted his glasses. He always slept with them on. It had been an old habit of his, and he rarely ever took off his glasses, even to clean them. He always felt totally blind with them off, and he couldn't stand it, even for a second. He opened the door of his house and nearly jumped back in surprise when he saw Mikagami-Sensei standing there.
He had never really judged his Sensei's age before, but he only looked about seventeen. Still, he was a well respected Jounin within the village and was considered an Elite Genius.
"Um, greetings Sensei... what brings you here?" Sol asked, a little confused.
"I'm here to tell you your Squad. It will consist of you, a guy named Pandryl Jhaendrai and it will look like Dekasake Roshito will be the third member. He is progressing the fastest with the Academy currently and looks like he may be able to graduate in 12 days. Also, it would appear that I have been assigned to your Squad..." Mikagami didn't seem too happy about this, but he continued, "Also, once Dekasake graduates, I will be having a meeting with the three of you so you can get to know each other better. That's all for now. Oh, yes. Before you start doing any Missions, I would suggest working on your weak points a bit. I doubt you would want to fail your first Mission," he said with a bit of a smirk.
"I will contact you when it's time to have the Squad Meeting. Later, Kage."
Sol watched Mikagami leave. Mikagami, while well respected, also looked kind of girly, with his long blue hair, slim figure and good looks. But his attitude was hardly feminine at all. He giggled to himself. He then jumped on top of his roof and watched Mikagami for as long as he could, focusing his eyes carefully. He lost sight of him fairly quickly, and he then realized that his perception was one of those weak points that Mikagami was talking about.
twelve days, he thought. That was plenty of time to work on his weak points.
He would stay on his roof all day, for three days, focusing on every aspect of his senses. He slowly felt his senses improve, as he was able to hear, smell and see things better than before.
For the next 3 days, he would then run around his Clan's old area as fast as he could, working on his Speed. He felt himself get faster and faster after every lap.
For another 3 days he would then lift some Weights he had around the house. While he didn't pride himself on his Taijutsu prowess in the least, he still felt that he should get a bit stronger should he be forced into close combat.
9 days had passed... only 3 more days to go until his old friend would take his Graduation Exam. He hoped for his friends success, and couldn't wait to see him again. He decided that now he would work on two different things over the next three days. For one and a half days he would do his running workout again. After that, for the same amount of time, he would run slowly around the village multiple times, working on his Stamina. He needed more Chakra, for sure, especially considering how much his Kekkei Genkai drained him.
He smiled after his training was finally complete... he was ready. Now he just awaited to see if Dekasake would pass or fail his Exam...
